How to Apply Airbrush Tattoos (Plus Trouble Shooting)

This video is great. We don’t necessarily have to clean the skin first because we’re often pressed for time, but this is a refresher (and uses our same products)

REMEMBER: When you are done airbrushing, (1) empty all remaining ink into the bottle and (2) run alcohol through your airbrush for a bit so it doesn’t gunk up when Marissa cleans it in the office.

BEFORE & AFTER GIG: Cleaning Airbrush 24hrs Before Your Gig and Immediately Once You Get Home

  • You must do this 24hrs before your gig or you’ll have issues before your gig
  • You must do this immediately once you get home while the liquid inside is still wait or you’ll hate yourself next time you use it
  • This is why you get paid $30/hr to basically do stickers. This is so important!

BEFORE GIG: Setting Up Airbrush

  • Always get to your Airbrush Gigs early because this takes a second
  • PRO TIP: Spray alcohol through your airbrush before loading in your paint incase it’s still clogged

AFTER GIG: Cleaning the Airbrush After Your Gig

  • If you don’t do this after your gig you’ll want to die
  • If Marissa has to clean out your airbrush after your gig and you haven’t done this she will have a melt-down
