Fairy and Pirate parties are run as a mix of clown parties and princess parties. Overall:

• You’re a character! A REAL fairy or pirate! Don’t break the magic.
• You may be asked to just go in costume (see below) or do activities (also below) so be prepared.
• The clients are paying extra (aka Lauren’s fees) so they expect a bit extra.

Basic Package: Face Painting, Balloon Twisting, or Temporary Tattoos

• Your party is going to be basically just face painting, balloon twisting, or tattoos
• You’re not expected to do songs or games or activities
• You can turn on background music while you do whatever activities
• That doesn’t mean you’re an artist in a costume–you still need to act like you’re a REAL fairy or pirate!

Activities Package: Songs, Stories, and Games

• These will always be assigned to our artists who are qualified princesses or clowns
• Like the princess or clown packages, mix up some songs, games, or stories like you would for the other packages
• If your package just says something vague like “and games” or “and activities”, assume you’ll be going through all of the tricks in your book!
• Always come prepared with a ton of activities since you know how quickly you’ll burn through them
• Activity examples:
  • Parachute games if you have one (see that post)
  • Repeat After Me songs
  • Disney songs they’ll know
  • Pirate themed games (ex: duck duck goose becomes pirate pirate shark)
  • Princess stories from your princess book (if you have one)
  • Anything else you’ve learned from trainings
• You can turn on background music while you do whatever activities
• Most of the time, you’ll also be doing face painting or balloon twisting
• Always bring your glitter tattoo kit if you need to burn time!
