Superhero Makeup
Our Men in Uniform!
Contouring will be key! Superheroes are chiseled and manly, be sure to make all your angles pop!
If you are playing Batman, while you will only have to cover half your face with makeup, you must address the eyelid slits in the face mask/cowl. Please take black face paint and/or black eyeshadow and fill in the exposed skin. Be sure to also go a little further out from the eye than the slits expose, that way any shift in the cowl will keep the appearance of the skin underneath being fully blackened.
Notice the difference in the eyes? The blackened one pulls the whole look together and gives it a more “professional” appearance.
Our Super Women!
This is a softer application but a bolder color than princess makeup. Focus will be on the eyes, but be sure to go over all areas of the face– Don’t just throw on eyeshadow, throw on a full face!
- Focus should be on eyes and lips
- But don’t forget to contour too!
- Create the FULL look
- Some eyeshadow ideas for every super female!
While this is a more “comic book” look than a “real life” look, take some inspiration from the video and pay attention to how she contours her face!
BY THE WAY, did you see what I posted for men about wearing the Batman mask? YOU WILL NOT BE DOING THAT! For female masks, you want to keep the skin bare, giving it that feminine appearance.
